We're a highly motivated team of professional, police vetted, uniformed and NZQA-certified cleaners. We're proud to do a great job because we genuinely care about making a hygienic, pleasant environment for our customers. Because when workplaces are cleaned sustainably, the whole of society benefits - this is social impact cleaning.
We deliver quality cleaning and more - our customers come to us for paper products (hand towel, toilet paper), bathroom hygiene solutions (soaps, fresheners, hand dryers), waste solutions (bins, recycling, rubbish removal), specialist floor care, seasonal cleans, dispensers, gloves, cleaning consumables and so much more!
Fresh Desk cleaners earn the Living Wage so that we, and our whanau, can live above the poverty line. We do NZQA-certified professional development, so that we have the skills needed for a rewarding and sustainable career pathway. That's why we have high engagement, high retention and high productivity.
Our customers are making the world a better place within the cost of a cleaning contract.
Employing Fresh Desk is an opportunity to redirect your cleaning spend towards making a difference and reducing inequality.
You can have a deep and transformative impact in your cleaners' lives.
I bring professionalism and expertise around training. I use my knowledge of how people learn to break down work into smaller bits, which I explain and demonstrate in different ways so that everyone understands. Learning has to be accessible to the learner.
I‘m very happy and excited to become a New Zealand citizen in 2018! I’m from Sri Lanka originally and I came to New Zealand 5 years ago as a refugee. I like to make the whole space clean. My English has improved a lot because my favourite part about working here is I love being part of a team. They are all my good friends.
I am a passionate people person in all that I do. I love creating an environment where people thrive and feel comfortable. I’m big on values and positivity, which is one of the reasons why I love working for Fresh Desk, as they’re big on creating the best possible experience for their clients. I run CDT Creative!
I love my three kids. I love netball and in my spare time I volunteer at a netball club and manage a netball team. I am training for an Ironman in 2018. When it comes to cleaning I am a detail person. I like to be very well prepared for tasks because when the processes are in place then nothing gets forgotten.
I am from Sydney, Australia and my heritage is Maltese. I find cleaning very relaxing and I enjoy going the extra mile. I did the training through work and now I have my level 2 certificate. Working at the Fresh Desk has also allowed me to travel around the North Island having new adventures.
I balance work with being a mum to three amazing kids. Since joining Fresh Desk, I've completed my level 2 certificate and now I'm working towards my supervisor qualification. Keeping open communication with customers is important to me because it lets me organise things so that everything runs smoothly.
Working in the Australian social sector gave us the values and experience needed to co-found Fresh Desk: collaboration, facilitation and developing people. Nicole is a qualified trainer and assessor and Caroline loves research. Both are expert cleaners.
"My colleague commented, ‘in over 10 years with BERL I have never seen the office as clean as it is now’.
We are so pleased to have a cleaning company that cares, not only about their clients, but also their staff and the environment."
